I was born in Pécs, South Hungary in 1961. Graduated in 1979 in the special English class of the Nagy Lajos Gimnázium in Pécs. Medical degree (result: „cum laude”) at the Medical University of Pécs in 1985. Began working at the II. Dept. Of Medicine, then at the Dept. Of Medicine of the 3rd Army Hospital. After moving to Budapest I began working at the Dept. Of Medicine, Hungarian University of Physical Education, at the National Institute of Rheumatology and Physiotherapy and at the Charity Hospital of the MAZSIHISZ. Since 1997 I’ve been leading a family physician’s practice in the city center of Budapest (6th district, 33., Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Rd). Since 2001 I’ve also been in private practice as the owner of SANATIM HEALTH CENTER – also in the 6th district, 6., Ó st.. Between 1998 and 2007 I’ve been the leading consultant sports physician of the 6th district. In 1993 and continuously between 1998 and 2005 I’ve been the Offical Physician of the Hungarian National Cyclist Team. I’ve been elected member of the Sports Pysicians National College between 2004 and 2008. Since 2008 part-time physician - rheumatologist of the OTP Bank Plc. I lead medical training in family practice for medical students in Hungarian, English and German, and as a mentor I’m taking part of qualification of family phisicians. I’ve been teaching earlier internal medicine for post-graduate students of the Hungarian University of Physical Education and for graduate physiotherapist students of the Highschool of Health Sciences. I’ve had a few abroad scholarships on internal medicine/cardiology and family ractice, with the help of the Soros Foundation. I’ve learned acupuncture and laser-therapy. In 1998 I won a healthcare management postgraduate certificate at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences. |
